Osteopathy

In osteopathy, we focus on restoring loss of function and stimulating the body's ability to recover. Here, we look at the pain-causing complaint and its causes. Osteopathy is a complement to classical medicine, based on an examination of movement.
Manual therapy
Osteopathy is a direct-access manual therapy in which the hands are primarily used to address a problem. In osteopathy, we focus on restoring lost function and stimulating the body’s self-healing ability. We look at the pain-causing complaint as well as its underlying causes. It is a complement to conventional medicine, based on a movement assessment.
Examples of conditions for which you can visit an osteopath (but not limited to) include:
- Neck, back, and pelvic pain
- Radiating pain to the limbs or head
- Headaches, tinnitus, dizziness, and jaw problems
- Sports injuries: recurring issues, often in collaboration with our physiotherapists.
No referral is needed to see an osteopath.
